And for those of you having a hard time imagining the long darkness of the arctic why don’t you lock yourself in a closet for three months…where some of you belong anyhows.

So during the long arctic night does the world just stand still there in the darkness….nooo, it spins around and around and around and around in the darkness…and around and around and around in the darkness…..for days and days and days in the darkness…before you ever see the sun again….just thought I would emphasize that.

If the arctic is dark is the arctic even there?

They call Africa the Dark Continent.....can anybody tell me why they would call Africa the Dark Continent?....I can't imagine why they would call Africa the Dark Continent......they don't even have an long Arctic night.

Fellas if you ever plan on going all night long in the arctic winter....just a peice of advice....paaaaccceee yourself….because even with viagra you can't last all night long.

The Norwegians have started a new foot race – they wait until the beginning of the long arctic winter when it is dark for three months and then have the participants run backwards for as long as it is dark. And they call it the "Back in Black" footrace.

Myself, I have never survived a period of darkness longer than 12 hours in my entire life...cept for the one time the bullies locked me in my locker in junior high school.

I have African freind who drinks a lot of coffee....his goal is to be the first black man to stay up all day long. …..hahaha

But on the lighter side of things……Do you know what an Inuit with cigarettes says after three months of long arctic darkness: "My God, somebody give me a light.“

After two months in the long arctic dark winter, all of a sudden, a Norwegian girl walking down the street stopped, let out a gasp, reached up and brought a lock of her hair around to inspect it: "Whew" she exclaimed: "Still blonde.“

I asked a girl if she wanted to play long arctic darkness by locking herself in a closet with me with the lights off for three months. And she said:"YEAH... the lights would probably have to be off in order for me to spend that much time with you.“

And for those of you who don't want to educate yourself, you may move from pole to pole and spend your entire lives in the dark. Oh, its that color here all the time.

And for you P-p-p-players....Pleeease........you would never have thought of locking yourself in the closet for three months with the lights off to simulate the long arctic darkness.
